At a special meeting of Dr. James Edward Glover Conclave which also featured a Provincial Team visit saw the Arch of Steel invested by the Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler, R.Wy.Bro Christian A. Givvons.

It had been talked about for many years that the Province of the size of East Lancashire should be able to boast an Arch of Steel and when Christian took over the Province last October he decided that the time was now and the plans were put in place.
The Provincial Grand Supreme Rulers Arch of Steel acts like a 'bodyguard' to the Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler and escorts him on his official visits in the Province. When he enters a Conclave they perform a guard of Honour for him to process in to the temple under the the Arch made by the sword of the team.

The team Commander is Wy.Bro. Shaun Higson who is not new to this role as he is also the Commander of the Grand Supreme Rulers Arch of Steel and many will have seen him on duty when M.Wy.Bro. Andrew Christopher Sweeney attends a meeting.
He also has a Deputy Commander who is Bro. Lee Gridley along with some other big names who I sure you will recognise from the photograph, Bro. Paul A. Renton who many of you will know from the various high offices he holds in Freemasonry like the Deputy Grand Superintendent for our sister Province of West Lancashire. Also Bro. Peter Hegarty who you will recognise as the Chairman for the Salford District of Lodges and Chapters along with Bro. Donald Atkinson, Bro. Ivor Emo, Bro. Alan Ogden and Bro. Callum Mulhearn.
The team would not be complete without an AoS Recorder and that task is in the very capable hands of Wy.Bro. Craig Wood.

They all performed excellently on the evening and I am sure you will agree when you see them on duty throughout the year especially at the Annual Provincial Meeting on Saturday 29th October 2022.
