Saturday the 23rd of April saw the 2nd regular meeting of Ribble Valley "The Internet" Consistory and what a special day it was.

Being a peripatetic consistory the current President, Paul Joynson decided to take the meeting to West Lancashire and the meeting was held at Brookfield Hall, Westhoughton.
Members had travelled from allow over the Country to take part in the meeting from as far afield as Scotland, Essex and Sheffield, however no where near as far as one of the candidates has travelled as Brother Vincent Pouchain had flown in from France to be at the meeting which saw him having the first grade conferred on him, along with Wy.Bro's Derek Oliver and Stephen William. They all experienced a first class ceremony by the acting Primus Ostiarii Stephen Jackson who had stood in for our regular Primus Ostiarii David McMorris who was isolating to ensure he was fit to fly to America on the coming Tuesday to witness his sons Graduation from University.

It was an excellent start to a new consistory who had hoped to confer the 1st Grade on no less than five candidates, however Covid managed to put pay to this, however they were all balloted for and we look forward to bringing them into the Order at out next meeting in October, where will will also be conferring the 2nd Grade on our new companions from this meeting.

The next meeting will be held at Tapton Hall in Sheffield on October 15th 2022 and all companions of the Order are invited to join us.
