Pomona Consistory is one of our Day time Consistories and they met on Wednesday at Helmsley House, Salford for their Installation Meeting.

The Consistory was open with flare by the President Dist.Comp. Andrew Greenhalgh, who then offered the gavel to the new Deputy Provincial Grand Summus, Dist.Comp. Paul A. Joynson who was at the Consistory on his first 'official' visit, he accepted it however returned it to Andrew knowing he had put a lot of preparation into the ceremony.

Dist.Comp. Shaun Higson was present to the President and then what followed was what can only be described a s a first class ceremony of Installation, seeing Shaun placed in the chair of a Consistory for a second time.

They also took on the new ethos of the Province by working more than one ceremony per meeting with the ceremony of Preparation also being worked to assist in preparing Shaun's successor.

The companions retired downstairs to the dining room for an excellent festive board homemade tomato soup and beef bangers and mash.

During the response to his health, Shaun present a cheque to the Province for £25 from the Consistory, which was greatfully received.
