Installation Meeting of Fraternity Conclave No.75

On Wednesday morning the brethren of Fraternity Conclave assembled at Hemsley House at Salford to install a new Supreme Ruler.

Unfortunately the installing Supreme Ruler was delayed at work so at the eleven hour Wy.Bro Ken Laidlaw took the chair to install Peter Hegarty in a very sincere ceremony, assisted by members of the Conclave and with the help of some of the visitors.

Many of you will know Peter Hegarty as a prominent figure in Freemasonry throughout the North West as he is currently the District Chairman for Salford's Lodges and chapters and also the Provincial Deputy Grand Prefect for the Allied Masonic Degree's in the Province of East Lancashire. Peter however will be stepping down very shortly from these two high offices as he is currently Assistant Provincial Grand Master designate for the Craft in East Lancashire due to be obligated and invested at the fast approaching annual meeting.

We wish Peter all the best for his forth coming endeavours in this high office and also for his year as Supreme Ruler for Fraternity Conclave.

Peter was also one of the Primus members of the Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler's Arch of Steel and will be on duty at the OSM Provincial meeting on 29th October at Rochdale.
